Urban Go-Team is a week long learning experience where students meet local leaders, visit cool places, and become mini-experts on an issue in St. Louis. (More on the program including past Go-Teams can be found here.) This year is an election year and so Civitas is giving students a look Inside Politics.
May 31 – June 3 we are going on an adventure around the St. Louis area. We will be meeting local politicians and candidates, getting a crash course on how elections work, learning about the Presidential race, getting a glimpse inside how polls and advertising influence elections, conducting some polling of our own, and a few other fun/educational activities.
Urban Go-Team is by invitation only, but we’ll be sharing photos and write ups of what we do and learn. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
