Civitas Summer Interns

Each summer, the students with the most Game Changers points are invited to attend a paid summer internship by Civitas. During this internship we deep dive into an issue. (Previous issues include mid-term elections, STL Consolidation, & other local topics) Students meet with politicians, journalists, community organizers, business leaders, and other experts to ask questions and brainstorm solutions. During this time we also go on a number of field trips and explore parts of the STL region students may not be familiar with. It’s an intense but engaging few weeks.

This paid internship is a reward Civitas provides to the students who show up to our other events throughout the year and share a passion for learning.
