Students from Nerinx Hall Academy and Ladue High School joined Civitas staff for an organizational planning meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 13. Among the ideas discussed was a “return to yesteryear” with a special issues conference in February rather than a second model UN. Students also felt that it would be a good idea to have one or several speakers prior to the fall Model UN and the February conference.
For the model UN, Civitas will be accepting video resolutions in addition to (not instead of) regular written resolutions. Details on that will be presented in early September. Also look for upcoming information on our Crisis Simulation on the morning of September 7.
