2026 Student Leader Lunch - CIVITAS-STL

Our Leadership Luncheon. We are looking for representatives for all high schools with students who participate in Civitas programs. Come join us for a catered lunch and great conversation as we collectively brainstorm ideas for the coming school year. You cannot just drop in. We will be serving pizza and soda.     2. Wash U Model UN Symposium (WUMUNS), Fri., Oct. 16-Sun., Oct. 18. Still have available spots.
    3. UN Day, Sat., Oct. 24, 5:00-8:00 pm, St. Louis City Hall. Will need volunteers.
    4. HSMUN Workshop, Sat., Nov. 7, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Crossroads

  3. High School Model United Nations
    1. Are you leading your school’s MUN group?
    2. Do you have a faculty advisor?
    3. Important Dates (note the longer session times):
      1. Country Draft: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 10:00 am until noon at Crossroads
      2. Session A MUN: November 21, 2026: 8:00 am until 1:30 pm at Browning Aud.
      3. Session B MUN: Saturday, December 5, 2026: 8:00 am until 1:30 at Browning
      4. Session C MUN: Saturday, December 12, 2026: 8:00 am until 1:30 pm at Browning
      5. Second Semester MUN: Saturday, March 6, 2027: 8:00 am until 1:30 pm at Winifred Moore
      6. Civitas can visit schools/groups to talk about Model UN participation and preparation.
    4. Civitas needs your group’s preferred session(s) and approximate numbers before the Country Draft.
    5. Resolutions are due by 10:00 am the Wednesday before each session.

    1. How many are needed to be invited to the 2026 Summer Internship
    2. How to earn points:
      1. Attend Civitas events (today earns you a point, 2 if you attended this morning)
      2. Bring a student new to Civitas events
      3. Write for The Civitas Examiner or the Civitas blog
      4. Volunteer with a group affiliated with Civitas
      5. Help plan and/or present at a Saturday Civitas event
  5. Service opportunities with Little Angels Foundation and the International Institute, and students from Roosevelt High School, Volunteers for UN Day, Service Field Trip
  6. Do you have ideas for speakers/field trips in the second semester? Thoughts on the Civitas brochure?
  7. Any contacts you know in middle or high schools in the area who may not know about Civitas?
