The week of May 29th- June 1st will be our 2018 Urban Go-Team.
What is it? Urban Go-Team is a special week of field trips, guest speakers, and engaging opportunities for a hand picked group of students. Because most of our programs focus on international issues during the school year, we like to learn more about our city during the summer.
Over the course of the week, students will…
- Meet with business leaders and visit some cooperative work spaces downtown where start-ups are happening
- Speak with political leaders in STL City & County to learn about issues
- Tour the Missouri State Penitentiary
- Explore the Callaway County Nuclear Plant
- See how segregation and racism have shaped suburban communities
- & more!
Urban Go-Team is free for high school students. We generally select the participants from our Game Changers program. As the week progresses, photos will be posted. Click here to see previous Urban Go-Teams.
