Aware that 176 people were killed during the flood in Malawi, and

Re.: High Crime Rates in Honduras due to People’s Hostility and Misunderstandings
Submitted to: General Assembly
Submitted by: Honduras
Date: April 10, 2019
Whereas Article 5 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.”, and
Whereas Article 19 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”, and
Aware that 30 people were killed within two weeks of the New Year in 8 massacres, and
Knowing that 136 LGBT flee El Salvador since 2012 and most crimes go unpunished, and
Realizing 62 journalists killed between 2006-2017, only two before 2009, and
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:
- The UN will send people to schools to educate children about how LGBT and journalists are good people. The people would stay for two months and be volunteers in Honduras.
- The people are trained in the USA to speak Spanish, teach others about LGBT and journalists using simple words for children to understand, and to know which topics are best to avoid (religion, politics), and know how to survive in unsafe conditions.
- 50 people will be sent. The people will bring food with them for the children to be interested. If they are hungry, the children will want to come in to listen to the lesson and get food.
- The people sent will not all stay together. They will spread out to cover more land in groups of four.
- Plane fare for round-trip will be $1,562 X 50 =$78,000. Food for volunteers will be $8 a day, multiplied by 50 people by 60 days=$24,000. Housing will cost $800 for two months. Security will cost $600. Food for the children will cost $2,000. Utilities will be $110 per person, so $11,000 for 50 people for 2 months. The total amount needed will be $116,000, but we need $200,000 in case.
- The money will come from fundraisers in wealthy and safe countries who want to participate: $50,000 and from any countries who want to donate about $150,000 (whatever amount accepted).
- The program will continue if crime rates decrease 30% in 3 years in Honduras.
- We will compare how much the crime rates have decreased from before and after the volunteers went to teach children in Honduras.

Whereas Article 3 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person.”, and
Alarmed that less than 45% of Yemen’s hospitals are in working condition, and
Aware that Yemen has been in a civil war since 2015, which has decimated its healthcare system, and
Concerned that an outbreak of cholera, a curable disease, was unleashed in Yemen in 2017,

- Will hire and train doctors.
- Will build permanent hospitals after the war is resolved.

Whereas Article 5 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.”, and
Alarmed that 47.8% of children are working in Niger instead of going to school, and
Aware that 6.6 million children are being abused in Niger, and
Concerned that we will be losing part of our future generation, and only have a select few instead of more, and
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:

- This program will be funded by raising the dues paid to the UN and by asking for money from rich countries.

Knowing that the Janjaweed are depriving people of happiness and security, and
