Resolution GA-01 April 10
Re.: Pursuing the Stoppage of Hunger and Inconvenient Health in Haiti
Submitted to: General Assembly
Submitted by: Haiti
Date: April 10, 2026
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #2 is Zero Hunger, and
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #3 is Good Health and Well-Being, and
Whereas Article 25, section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and his family, including food, clothing, housing, and medical care, and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age, or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.”, and
Recognizing that Haitians are suffering because of Insecurity, major earthquakes, brutal and intense gang warfare in the capital, poor rainfall resulting in bad harvests, hurricanes, and Cholera/ other illness outbreaks, and
Alarmed by the amount of children who are severely malnourished, including 1.64 million Haitians who are experiencing emergency levels of hunger, and
Deeply Concerned that most children who even have proper food don’t have the needed nutrients in their food for growth and development, let alone the children who don’t have food, and
Keeping in mind that 11.75 million people need support and assistance, most of which are hungry already. If the percent of people experiencing harsh living conditions and severe hunger insecurities continue to spiral, then these could turn into critical famine-like conditions,
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:
- Form an organization called NHH, No Hunger in Haiti, where local chefs would teach Haitians in the capital city, Port-au-Prince, how to cook basic, healthy, and hearty meals.
- Employ chefs from the World Central Kitchen and from local restaurants already working in Port-au-Prince to start a training program for people in families who would like to learn how to cook to supply fellow friends and family using natural resources grown/supplied in Haiti.
- People can be trained to fish at the beaches/rivers/lakes to get fish to cook and people can harvest more natural resources to sell and get more money to buy food.
- We need approximately $18,593,000 for the United Nations/medical services to send liquid vitamins for NHH to inject into the food of people suffering from bad health.
- We also need around $144,000,000 to supply food for the program to work and so people have food to cook with and another $5,000 to pay for the cooking utensils like whisks, bowls, and pans.
- This money will be provided by Haiti’s allies, including the US, Canada, and France by escalating their UN dues by 15 million dollars. Taiwan can also help fund this program by paying without the UN. The WCK can help us with food supplies and cooking supplies. In the end the budget will be somewhere close to $162,598,000.
- The culinary teaching part of the program will run for 1 year. In the first year, we will try to support most of Port-au-Prince, (population 3.2 million).
- After the culinary teaching program ends, we will see if families are capable of providing themselves with appropriate food resources and sustainable meals. If the progress is successful, then we will expand this program to the rest of Haiti and possibly other countries like Central/South America.
Resolution GA-02 April 10
Re.: Conflict Regarding the Strait of Hormuz
Submitted to: General Assembly
Submitted by: Japan
Date: April 10, 2026
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #16 is Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #17 is Partnerships for the Goals, and
Whereas Article 3 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person.”, and
Aware that many countries including France, Germany, Indonesia, the U.K, and the U.S.A. Have already started preparing a joint statement regarding safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz; and
Worried that gas prices internationally have risen drastically and in some countries like Japan it is at its all-time high (~190 ¥ per liter), because of the closure of the Strait, and
Knowing that President Donald Trump has enabled a deadline for Tuesday, April 7 at 8PM ET that if it’s not met, may lead to the U.S.A. Using military force,
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:
- Action Plan: The United Nations will start a project called “Keeping open the Strait” to help gather more and more countries to sign the joint statement to threaten Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or else these countries will have to use force to open the Strait and possibly give Iran less power over the Strait. We can also give access to clean water for Iran as a negotiation point, and encouragement to open the Strait of Hormuz.
- Funding: There is not a need for a large budget at all, just if there are meetings hosted in the future we need a budget for security. Also if the Strait does not open, it may take money for war, but at the moment, not a large budget.
- Timeline: April 7th: Trump’s deadline ends for the strait to open, may use military force in next 10 days (April 8th-17th): A. If the U.S. uses military force, other countries in the multinational alliance may join in. B. If the U.S. doesn’t, then countries in the multinational alliance may host meetings to discuss a solution, which also may include Iran in the conversation, as we could discuss a negotiation point with Iran to open the strait.
Next 10 days (April 18th-27th): A. If there is military force from the multinational alliance against Iran, the strait may be less in control or no longer occupied by Iran and it will be open. If no force, the alliance may come to a negotiation with Iran to assist them if they open the strait. - Evaluation: If the Strait opens then, Iran would get clean access to water and a lot of countries will benefit. If the Strait continues to close, then countries may have to resort to forceful options such as more war, with more resources and more conflict till the Strait opens.
Resolution GA-03 April 10
Re.: Providing Access to Clean Water and Sanitation in Indonesia
Submitted to: General Assembly
Submitted by: Indonesia
Date: April 10, 2026
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #3 is Good Health and Well-Being, and
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #6 is Clean Water and Sanitation, and
Whereas Article 25, section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and his family, including food, clothing, housing, and medical care, and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age, or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.”, and
Saddened that the percent of people who do not have access to clean water in Indonesia is 70%, which is equivalent to approximately 193 million people, and has shown to worsen the good health and well being of people due to the fact that 89% of the water sources in Indonesia are contaminated because of poor sewage treatment, which results in people sick with cholera, typhoid, dysentery, hepatitis A, and leptospirosis, and
Appalled that nearly 25 million people do not have access to safe toilets and defecate in fields, bushes, forests, and other places which can cause health problems to communities and kids, and
Acknowledging that people resort to drinking unclean water and are getting various diseases and illnesses from it, and
Noting that the mortality rate in Indonesia is 7.53 deaths per 1000 people and it will most likely increase if they do not receive clean water,
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:
- Action Plan: To initiate our plan, we would prefer to partner up with numerous sewage companies including PowerChina, Clearlyconstruction, Environment One Corporation, Indonesian Ministry of Public Works, and other plumbing companies to implement sewers and better sewage coverage in Indonesia. The sewers would carry the waste and dump it out to a specialized wastewater treatment facility. For consumable water, we plan to connect pipes to Indonesia’s 471 documented aquifers. The pipes, through many processes, will purify the water to make it safe for drinking by using active carbon filters to remove sand, rock, and dust particles, and inclined sediment filters to remove odors. Specifically, Indonesia needs about 500,000 miles of sewer lines, which the country lacks significantly. We request service from the following countries, the United States of America, Japan, Germany, and Sweden.
- Funding: We would like 10 million dollars equally distributed amongst the four countries to begin fixing and constructing advanced sewers and pipes in Indonesia from the United States of America, Japan, Germany, and Sweden through the UN. Once we find that the fixed sewers are helping with the pollution, we would like to start a project called WaterFund. WaterFund will be a humanitarian aid business within Indonesia. This business or charity will run on government funding and donations from around the world. The idea of this project is to build wells in poorer areas where people will not be able to access running, clean water due to the reason that the pipes will carry the water to houses or water dispensers that are connected to the pipes. Many people will not be able to access these pipes because of their location or financial issues. Since Indonesia has the largest economy in Asia, the government will most likely be able to fund this project, and with donations, it will be very successful. Volunteers will also partake in removing plastic pollution and campaigning for more funding to go to reducing pollution.
- Timeline: We would like to continue this plan for 10 years to try to fix and construct as many sewers and pipes as possible, it is likely that there will be many sewers and pipes still unfixed and needed, In this case, we would like to continue it for 2 more years to fix the remaining sewers. With our large economy and assistance, we will be able to provide sewers and pipes without large masses of humanitarian aid.
- Evaluation: Our plan would be considered if the percentage of waters that are polluted goes down by 5% in 2 years. Also in the case that the amount of people getting diseases from defecating in fields also goes down by 5% in 2 years, because the fixed and new sewers and pipes will be able to support toilets, transport waste to specialized wastewater treatment facilities, and carry out groundwater to people’s houses and wells.
- Over time we would like to expand WaterFund to countries worldwide including, The Philippines, China, India, and Brazil to begin. With more funding and a global expansion, Waterfund will become much more than just an organization within a single country. Waterfund will be a national organization dedicated to providing tools, funding, humanitarian aid, and plumbing to countries suffering from water pollution issues. Countries interested in joining will pay their annual due based on their economy. Though, our organization will have many benefits. Firstly, we will use the money to fund our organization in order to purchase materials and tools that anyone can take out when in crisis or worry. Specifically, the tools and equipment will solely be for water purification, sewage and plumbing problems, pipe issues, water pollution, and drought issues. We also plan to recruit global sewage and pipe companies. Water services and money will also be included. For example, if a country is greatly affected by polluted water, they can go to WaterFund to ask for humanitarian assistance. The countries in this organization will help decide what they need and volunteer to help.

Re.: Humanitarian Aid in Ukraine
Submitted to: General Assembly
Submitted by: Germany
Date: April 10, 2026
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #2 is Zero Hunger, and
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #2 is Zero Hunger, and
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #16 is Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and
Whereas Article 17, section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others.”, and
Whereas Article 17, section 2 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.”, and
Alarmed that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has continued for four years, and
Concerned that Russia currently occupies 20% of Ukraine, and
Appalled that the war has caused tens of thousands of civilian casualties, and
Worried that Ukraine was one of the biggest grain exporters in the world, but the war is cutting slowing them down, and
Acknowledging that 3.7 million people have been displaced, and many of them are facing housing and shelter crises, poverty, education loss, electricity shortages, and mental health problems due to stress,
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:
- Action Plan: We will build refugee camps for 4 million people who have been displaced to live in. This will include homes, clean water, food, and an education for children. This is important because 3.7 million have been displaced and greatly affected by the war.
- Funding: This project, which includes housing, education, clean water, and food for four million people, will cost us a total of $120,000,000,000 for 5 years. This includes both short term and long term costs. This results in spending $6,000 per person per year. We have decided to cover this cost by asking the 25 richest countries to place a small tax of 0.3% on their exports for one year. Due to the global effects of the conflict, aid should come from around the world.
- Timeline: This project is expected to run for five years or until the homes can be found for all those initially displaced, whichever comes first.
- Evaluation: Our goal will be achieved if we have created refugee camps that provide shelter, food, and healthcare for at least all of the currently internally displaced Ukrainians within 18 months of getting the last necessary payments. Should this work well, we may add more refugee camps if the conflict worsens and/or more people are displaced.

Re.: Raising Women’s Literacy Rates in Pakistan
Submitted to: General Assembly
Submitted by: Pakistan
Date: April 10, 2026
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #4 is Quality Education, and
Whereas Sustainable Development Goal #5 is Gender Equality, and
Whereas Article 26, section 1 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.”, and
Whereas Article 26, section 2 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS states, “Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance, and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace.”, and
Saddened that about 54% of women can read in Pakistan, compared to the men’s literacy rate at around 73%, and
Shocked that 20.3 to 26.2 million children are not enrolled in any type of school, and
Acknowledging that poverty, gender inequalities, and the lack of local schools for girls are contributing to this problem, and
Noting that girls should be able to pursue education and keep up with the men’s literacy rates,
Be It Hereby Resolved That The General Assembly:
- The United Nations will start a program called RFT (read for tomorrow) that will send educators to houses of children in Balochistan, Pakistan who can’t access schools. Both young girls and boys up to 16 years old will be provided with resources to learn basic and advanced reading skills. 200 teachers will be needed for this program. Teachers will be from all around the world and have to be fluent in Urdu.
- This program will last for 8 years.
- One pack of basic school supplies and textbooks will be given to each family participating. The teachers will visit the families two-three times a week.
- Additional classes will be provided to women 16 and older. These are free of cost and the goal is to teach basic reading skills useful for adults.
- The cost to pay for teachers will be around $56,000,000 ($35,000 per year times 200 educators times 8 years).
- The pack of school supplies that will cost $75,000 (around $150 per pack times 500 families).
- The teachers will visit two families each three times a week. They will be assigned mostly two families, with some teaching a little more. This will ensure that all families are accounted for. (500 families divided by 200 teachers= 2.5 families per teacher)
- Flights, transportation, and housing for the teachers will bring additional costs.
- Flights will be around $300,000. ($1500 per ticket times 200). Teachers will live together-2 to an apartment. (an apartment costs about $200 rent per month multiplied by 8 years and 100 apartments) Total costs for housing will be $1,920,000. For the teachers to get around they will use buses. Costs for this in total will be around $128,000.
- In total we will need around $60,000,000. This will go to everything listed above.
- We are asking for money from Andorra, Finland, and Greenland (Denmark) as they have the highest literacy rates. To split this evenly, each country will give around $20,000,000.
- To ensure that this is working, each child will take a test at the beginning of the 8 year period. At the end, they will take it again to see if they made any progress.
- If all goes well and the women’s literacy rates rise, this program will expand to neighboring countries like Afghanistan and Iran.
