Saturday, April 16th, Civitas is offering a special event for high school students. We have teamed up with the Missouri Coalition for the Environment to sponsor a Radioactive Tour of STL. The tour is from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm with a stop for lunch along the way. Students will start at the Civitas office, then go on a bus tour of radioactive hazard areas in St. Louis area including Weldon Spring, Westlake Landfill, and Lambert International Airport. We will have a knowledgeable speaker accompanying us to provide information and insight on these locations.
- Registration is mandatory, space is limited.
- Students are advised to arrive early, so as not to miss the bus!
- The event (including lunch) is free
- Details on what students will be learning about can be found here.
- New resources added!
We have hit max capacity for this event. If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or call Bobbi at 314-443-9785 . Thanks!
