Rights of Host Countries:

  1. Host countries can refuse refugees once they have reached their max of refugees & can change when an event (good or bad) occurs. (Group A)
  2. Host countries can choose which countries they can except refugees from. Host countries must have a legit reason to refuse refugees. (Group A)
  3. Host countries should be able to decide who they will accept based on literacy & job skills. (Group A)
  4. Host countries have the right to complete background checks & monitor refugees until they complete the citizenship process. (Group B)
  5. Host countries have the right to participate in an incentive program that provides international monetary support for refugee resettlement & infrastructure. (Group B)
  6. Countries have the right to be exempt from accepting refugees based on population density, lack of land, and economic hardship based on GDP. (Group B)
