Hi students! We’ve spoken a lot about how important voting is this year. (Some of you have written excellent essays encouraging others to vote!) We are providing another opportunity for you to get civically engaged, this time we’ll be sending postcards to infrequent voters.
Civitas will provide the postcards, stamps, etc all you need to do is write out some encouraging words about why it’s important to vote. Stephanie has written an excellent guide below which includes some possible messages.

Important to Know:
- No return address.
- Please use the person’s first name in your greeting.
- Only sign your first name.
- The written message should be an encouragement to vote. You can create your own or use one of the sample messages below, which are lines from email letters Civitas students wrote.
- Please mail the postcards no later than Friday, October 23.
