The Reinventing Voting Conference has been postponed until the fall. In its stead, Civitas is hosting 2 different events. Both activities will be at the Creve Coeur Drury Inn. Like all Civitas events, attendance is free. If a student attends both the AM & PM activities, we’ll have a pizza lunch in-between!
The AM Event is a Model United Nations Session. Like the previous February session, we are giving preferential treatment to resolutions already submitted. The session will run from 9:00 am until noon.
The PM Event is an Open Discussion. Students will be given an opportunity to talk about what matters to them whether it’s local politics, school issues, or current events. There will be an update on our collaboration with Magnify Your Voice and as an added bonus Betsy Sinclair will be joining us! The discussion will take place from 12:45 pm – 2:15 pm.
