On the first day of Urban Go-Team, students went downtown to look at some of the new and positive things going on in the city. We went on tours of T-REX & Covo, two work coops that are trying to jump start businesses in the urban core. In the afternoon, we met with the city treasurer Tishaura Jones, to hear about what her job entails and the challenges of city government.
