Hello teachers!
Due to the coronavirus, Civitas has decided to cancel all of our upcoming Middle School Model United Nations General Assemblies. It was a hard decision to make, but we feel that for the safety of everyone in the program it was necessary.
What does that mean for you?
- We still plan on reading, offering feedback, and posting resolutions online. You and your students have worked hard, and we want to honor the work you’ve done.
- If possible, we would like to make ourselves available to do class/school-only Model UN Sessions. This might be in-person, it might be online. The details can be discussed when you return back to school.
- Stephanie has canceled all of the buses Civitas was in charge of ordering. There’s nothing you need to do on your end.
Things are chaotic right now. We are monitoring the situation as it unfolds. Our main goals at Civitas right now are to not be an additional burden to teachers and to continue to provide support where we can.
