Civitas Examiner Staff

The Civitas Examiner is a newspaper largely written by high school students who participate in Civitas programs. It includes both news and opinions. The Examiner is available both in printed copy and online. Civitas is a St. Louis-based not-for-profit organization. Staff organizes Model United Nations programs and activities that promote active citizenship and world awareness for high-school and middle-school students attending public, private and parochial schools. You can contact us at [email protected]. Civitas is not associated with any school, school district, religious or political organization. Opinion presented in the Civitas Examiner do not reflect those of Civitas.

Henry B. I graduated from Collinsville High School in 2025 and will be attending New York University to study Politics and Pre-Law. I would love to work in politics or law after I graduate college. Benjamin Y.I am a rising homeschooled sophomore. I like drawing, writing, playing the Uilleann Pipes, Irish dancing, and, of course, Civitas activities! I am currently working on a documentary about the unhoused in St. Louis. Sophomore means “wise fool” in Greek. Don’t try to play a roll on bottom D.
