On Saturday, December 2 from 9-11 am, Civitas is hosting the first meeting of our new book club. All semester long, students have been encouraged to read The Hate U Give. Now we are going to meet up and share our thoughts about the book and the issues it raises. The book club will be at the Civitas office and is free for all high school students (even if they haven’t finished/read the book) to attend.
