St. Louis, Missouri - September 6, 2002 -

David Estes, French teacher at Parkway South Middle School, will be talking with high school students about his experiences in Vietnam as well as his father's in World War II. As students worry about the possibility of another unpopular American war, David's comments should be very poignant. He will meet with students at the September 14 discussion group at Crossroads School (click here for map) in the Central West End. The session will be from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

David has been an outstanding teacher in the Gateway Model United Nations middle school program for ten years. This will be his first appearance with our high school students, however he will be acquainted with many former students of his who now attend Parkway South High School and St. Joseph's Academy.
