Civitas model U.N. "season" begins on Saturday, September 1 with the first discussion group of the year.  Topics range from U.S. presence in Iraq to single gender vs. co-ed schools; from immigration issues to "What's our fixation with Paris?"   If none of our suggestions fit your fancy, come up with your own idea and throw it out to other students!

We'll have several Saturday sessions in September that are discussion group only; later we'll move into model U.N. prep.

The September 1 session will be at Crossroads School (map), beginning at 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  Students who were in "Urban Go-Team" or who are just plain interested in urban issues can stay later for lunch and a special "urban event" to be announced.
