First Prep Session for Conference Takes Place Last Saturday
The first prep session for the
Civitas Global Conference on "Who Gets To Belong to the Nuclear
Club?" was a veritable success last Saturday (January
20). We had a number of enthusiastic students
who asked intriguing questions and offered poignant insights.
Thanks to the fine work of Danielle Silber,
International Events Coordinator at Washington University, we
had the benefit of four freshmen from the Hilltop Campus who
came and presented valuable information about China.
Following the presentation by the
Washington University students, we divided into three groups to
brainstorm what are the greatest threats that humanity currently
faces for continued survival. Each group put together a
list and then had a spokesperson present their findings to
everyone. There findings were as follows:

Lost & Found
Following our prep
session last Saturday at Crossroads, an inhaler was found in the
cafeteria where we met. It is labeled as belonging to
Matthew Campbell and the prescription came from a Walgreen's on
Halls Ferry Road in Jennings. We usually know the names of
everyone at our events, but we don't know of Matthew
Campbell. If you (or anyone who knows you) is in reading
distance of this newsletter, please call Colleen at Crossroads
[(314) 367-6480] to retrieve the inhaler.
