Civitas Night at the Ballpark Big Success, Except we lose!

We want to thank all of you who came to our "Civitas Night at the Ballpark" vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, June 23. Matty Mo suffered his first loss of the season and the Cardinals fell 11-7. Tony LaRussa is working to keep the boys on top of their game. Hey, did anyone see anything wrong with this stadium?

Civitas MetroLink Day this Thursday, July 7

As most of us know, the MetroLink system in St. Louis is expanding westward into Clayton and southward to Shrewsbury through Maplewood. In our Urban Studies program two summers ago, we scheduled a day to travel the entire length of the current system. We did not have enough time to complete the route. This year we'll do it by leaving from Crossroads School (map below) at 9:00 AM this Thursday, July 7 and returning to the school by 3:30 PM. We'll stop for lunch in Laclede's Landing and also spend some time at Lambert Airport. If you are interested, If you are interested, the cost is $10.00 for person (this covers the cost of transportation and lunch.). If you are interested, please complete our short form by clicking here.

Foreign cars do not break as much as American cars. I prefer the Japanese cars.
